(Adult) Amber - Raw Color
Unpolished, and not scratchy like a lot of raw amber can be! Preferred by some for the way it looks...preferred by all for its higher retention of succinic acid.

Our necklaces and bracelets are handcrafted. They are made of authentic Baltic amber, the most esteemed type of amber in the world. This necklace is made with round(ish) beads, not chips.
Succinic acid is the most beneficial component of the amber. It is scientifically accepted that the darkest colored amber generally contains less succinic acid than lighter colors. Since the highest concentrations of succinic acid are found near the exterior of a piece of Baltic amber, whenever the exterior is removed in the cutting or polishing process this very beneficial part of the the amber is lost.
Clean with lukewarm water and a soft cloth. Avoid detergents and cleansers when possible as these substances over time will leave a residue on the amber that inhibits it's ability to release its healing properties into the skin.
